About the event
If you are looking for a rewarding way to support people in need while spending time around horses, come learn about volunteer opportunities at Topfield! We could not fulfill our mission without the volunteers who make our work possible. As we grow, we are inviting community members to learn about what volunteering at Topfield entails. Whether you have equestrian experience or have never been around a horse before, we have a place for you. During this one-hour gathering, you will tour our facility and meet our instructors, barn staff, and experienced volunteers. You will see some of our lessons in action, groom a horse, and pet our goats.
Our Primary Volunteer Opportunities include:
Arena Support: Working with clients during lessons as a sidewalker or horse leader.
Barn Care: Helping care for our horses and maintaining the barn.
Community Outreach: Supporting our programs and events in the community.
Volunteer Benefits For active volunteers (min 4 hours per month) we offer: -- Discounted horse rides once a week -- Weekly Horse Leader Training with our professional trainer
