Topfield Volunteer Training and Refresher

The day will be all about teaching you everything you need to know to safely serve as a volunteer for mounted and unmounted programming at Topfield. Everyone is invited to join us for the whole day, which includes learning, lunch, and hands-on practice with horses. Brand new volunteers should plan on being with us from 10 am to 3 pm. Returning volunteers can opt to join for lunch (if you wish) and go through hands-on refresher training from 1-3 or opt to come just from 2-4 pm for the hands-on refresher.

Because we serve vulnerable populations and are concerned for everyone’s safety while at  Topfield Equestrian Center, the following is our COVID-19 policy for all staff, volunteers, and  clients: 

• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.  
• If you are unable to be vaccinated, you must provide us with appropriate medical  documentation. In addition, you must provide a negative COVID test for each person coming to Topfield taken on the day of arrival (FDA-approved home test is acceptable) and wear a mask at all times on the property.  
• All persons at Topfield must be masked at all times in any indoor spaces (not barn or  arena) for the duration of your work/volunteer time or client service. The only exceptions  are when you are alone in a closed office or when eating or drinking for a limited time.
